Why I am writing again

I am reopening this blog because there are parts of complex medical life that are hard to understand unless you have lived them, witnessed them, or cared for someone through them. My hope is to use this space to share pieces of our experience, not to speak for Alex, but to explain what I have seen, learned, questioned, and carried as his mom and caregiver in over 21 plus years.
