190 days…

The countdown continues….190 days until the Cap City Half-marathon. Today was a jogging day, but because it was raining and windy, I ran inside on the treadmill at the Y. (I love that place!) 

I’ve never used the interactive feature on the treadmill where you can play videos of places all over the world so today I thought I’d try it.

I took videos of the different screens of trails I went to but the videos are shaky so I thought I’d just talk about it and put a picture of the compression sleeves I have 😊

I was running on trails and roads in Paris, Costa Rica, Maui, Utah, Canada…it was fun until I accidentally hit the emergency stop and shut off the treadmill…..UGH!

I restarted and jogged a few more miles for I think a total of close to 5 today. I was pretty comfortable running mainly because I was inside, on a steady surface, and was not dealing with weather conditions.

190 days to go! Aaron, who will be doing the race with me, ran 7.5 on a trail this morning. He’s actually got a headlight he uses because he goes out when it’s still dark.

One step, one mile at a time….
