We did it! Alex was my pacer. We started out setting his chair to go at 5 mph but my cardio system was not quite ready.

I have been working on jogging some in the past two months, but it has been at least 10 years since I jogged 3 miles.

We turned his chair down to 4 mph and I was able to jog close to him a good bit.

We finished in 38:57 and 38:58 minutes 

Because I was one of only two ladies in the 60-69 age group I got a first place medal 😆

I think we did pretty good for a guy driving his power wheelchair with his chin, and his 62 year old mom with two new knees one 5 months post replacement and the other 10.

What fun.
