Creativity = Functionality

We have to be very creative on this journey with a high-spinal cord inury. 

Alex LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to be outside but he cannot tolerate much sun or humidity. I found these ENORMOUS umbrellas at Walmart at the beginning of summer and bought a few online. 

They cost only about $50 and are far more functional and durable than a basic umbrella. I used one of the umbrellas to supershade Alex so he could be outside, be protected from the sun, and work on his computer.
